Christine received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University where she worked extensively in the Anxiety Disorders Laboratory focusing on helping individuals overcome their phobias. She also studied in the Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness department by taking several classes regarding stress reduction techniques such as yoga, biofeedback, meditation, energetics, and spirituality. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Western Michigan University in June 2014. She holds a part-time faculty position in the Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness department. Christine has also received training in biofeedback administration and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) to complement her counseling sessions.

She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families to highlight and capitalize on the potential for the growth and healing that each person possesses. Christine uses an eclectic approach to her counseling sessions and holds a nonjudgmental and safe space for clients to explore their feelings and thoughts. Christine utilizes her knowledge of holistic approaches to dealing with stress and adversities and looks at counseling as a place to learn and try out new skills.

She believes that self-growth and exploration is a lifelong process. Although it can be a challenging road at times, it can also be rewarding and enlightening when hard work and dedication are harnessed and put to use.
