Charlene Rinehart Brown |
Charlene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Memphis, as well as Master degrees in Physical Education and in Counseling, coupled with a Holistic Health Care Certificate from Western Michigan University.
For more than 30 years, Charlene has been counseling and educating diverse groups of individuals across the country. She has traveled extensively nationally and internationally, broadening and strengthening her understanding of, and approach to wellness. Charlene applies her education and extensive knowledge, wisdom and experience to directing and fulfilling the mission and vision of the Rinehart Institute.
Currently Ms. Brown leads the Rinehart Institute, supporting its clinical needs and promoting her two assessments; the Holistic Wellness Assessment (HWA), a clinical version, and an educational version, the Wellness Assessment: a tool for personal growth.
She continues to conduct ongoing research and development of assessments and intervention activities to enhance wellness. Charlene holds an affiliation with Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness department.
Charlene Brown lives in Kalamazoo with her husband, Bob Lakey.
